Groundbreaking for new bottling center strengthens customer service
With a ceremonial groundbreaking on May 14, 2026, VOG Products officially launched a key future-oriented project: the construction of a new bottling center for products in small containers such as bottles and jars. With this investment, VOG Products is strategically expanding its service offering for business-to-business customers.
On the site of a former warehouse, a modern, two-storey bottling facility with a total floor area of around 3,500 m² will be built over the coming years. While storage areas are planned on the ground floor, the upper level will house the bottling operations for end-consumer products, including purées and juices. The project is complemented by a new blending hall covering approximately 580 m², creating optimal conditions for efficient processes and consistently high product quality.
A strategic step forward
With the new bottling center, VOG Products underlines its clear strategic focus on further expanding value creation and offering services closer to the market.
“By building the bottling center, we are laying the foundation for the next stage in the development of our producer organization,” explains Chairman Johannes Runggaldier. “This investment strengthens the independence of VOG Products and is a conscious commitment to the future.”
Managing Director Hannes Werth also highlights the added value for customers and partners: “The new bottling center is a true milestone. For the first time, we will be able to bottle end-consumer products independently, significantly expanding our service portfolio.”
Implementation by 2028
The completion of the buildings and the commissioning of the blending operations are scheduled for the end of 2026. Installation of the bottling lines is planned for the end of 2027, with production expected to start in early 2028.
A symbolic highlight of the groundbreaking ceremony was the filling of a time capsule with messages from management and employees to future generations. It represents a conscious new beginning and the shared ambition to lay the foundations today for tomorrow’s success.
